Property Development

Archer Custom Builders has a passion for restoring old buildings and giving them new life and purpose. In addition to working with our clients to execute their projects, our company continues to invest in properties in the downtown Memphis area. Having purchased and restored several buildings in the South Main district, these properties now serves as valuable commercial real estate. We specialize in retaining the original character of these old buildings, while providing useful, beautiful spaces for modern businesses.

This property is now home to several businesses, including both a retail shop and a salon. Stock & Belle is a lifestyle store featuring men's and women's clothing, shoes, and accessories, as well as furniture, art, and the Low Fi Coffee espresso bar. Upstairs, the building houses Salon 387, a full service salon and barber offering cut and style services, as well as chemical treatments, extensions, waxing, and makeup.

This former warehouse structure has been redeveloped into office spaces as Bluff 4 Properties. The building is now home to our Archer Custom Builders office, as well as office space for several other tenants, including John Harrison Jones Architect and Walk Cook & Lakey PLC.

We currently have office space available for lease on the second floor of Bluff 4.

Our most recent undertaking, this former warehouse structure was built in 1920, originally serving as a grocer warehouse.  Located right off of South Main Street, 136 Webster Avenue was acquired by Archer in 2016, and the building is currently being redeveloped and renovated. We are diligently working to attract a small urban grocer as a tenant to serve the downtown area, returning the building to its original purpose. The downtown area is desperately in need of a grocery store, and we are trying to fill that gap.
