Archer Custom Builders has a passion for restoring old buildings and giving them new life and purpose. In addition to working with our clients to execute their projects, our company continues to invest in properties in the downtown Memphis area. Having purchased and restored several buildings in the South Main district, these properties now serves as valuable commercial real estate. We specialize in retaining the original character of these old buildings, while providing useful, beautiful spaces for modern businesses.

Our most recent undertaking, this former warehouse structure was built in 1920, originally serving as a grocer warehouse. Located right off of South Main Street, 136 Webster Avenue was acquired by Archer in 2016, and the building is currently being redeveloped and renovated. We are diligently working to attract a small urban grocer as a tenant to serve the downtown area, returning the building to its original purpose. The downtown area is desperately in need of a grocery store, and we are trying to fill that gap.
The second floor will be home to the administrative offices of Freedom Prep Charter Schools.
